Aiming for higher quality.

Shuttle Notes Oxford Shirt

Washed 100 times, to be worn for a lifetime.

Shuttle Notes aimed to create an Oxford shirt that offers more than just beauty the moment you put it on; we wanted one that you can wear, wash, and live with for years to come.

To ensure that quality, our Oxford shirts have undergone 100 wash and abrasion tests. By simulating the wear and tear of daily life, we verified the quality of our materials and final products while observing how the fabric evolves over time.

Because it's a basic, we start from the fabric.

Oxford cloth is a staple material that has been loved as a shirt fabric for generations. That is why at Shuttle Notes, rather than relying on superficial style, we have pursued our ideal Oxford by focusing on the weave itself.

Our goal was a fabric with a solid density that never feels stiff. It is an Oxford that conforms to your body the more you wear it, with a character that evolves over time.

Density and texture born from a slow weave.

When weaving our fabric, we use a slower speed than standard production, inspired by the pace of vintage shuttle looms.

By slowing down the speed to reduce tension on the threads and carefully packing them into place, we create a dense fabric that preserves the natural character of the yarn. It is a method of weaving that prioritizes the perfection of the fabric over mere efficiency.

From the texture when you touch it and the presence it has when worn, to how it feels after repeated washings—because it is a basic staple, every step of the Shuttle Notes Oxford is carefully engineered, starting from the fabric itself.

Making it your own over time.

The brand-new state of the shirt is not the finished product. Wear it, wash it, and wear it again. The way the fabric conforms to your body and slowly changes its character through repeated use is the true charm of a shirt made from natural fibers.

Thinking from the fabric up, with long-term use in mind. That is the philosophy behind Shuttle Notes' approach to crafting basic shirts.
