I'll make a note of my thoughts on the shirt.
As you know, Uniqlo offers amazing products at low prices. We couldn't make the same quality at the same price, and in fact, their Extra Fine Cotton Shirts are an absolute bargain.
On the other hand, our product is priced at 14,100 yen (tax included). It may seem quite expensive, but we use a fabric weaving method that is not used by major apparel companies, and the fabric density is quite high.
Various innovations are also made in the process known as fabric finishing. To be honest, it is too inefficient and too costly, so it is not something that Uniqlo and other major companies "cannot do," but rather it is something they "don't do."
We continue to produce shirts in order to question the meaning of our existence. We will continue to pursue the quality that major manufacturers that produce efficiently do not strive for, even if they want to.
