Denim and white shirt

デニムとホワイトシャツ
Shuttle notes White Shirts High-density Poplin

I've been unable to have a drink on my way home from work lately.

As a reaction to that, I've ended up drinking more on my days off (haha).

Anyway, I apologize for not being able to update the blog much recently.

This time, I would like to write about how to style our white shirts.

The photo above shows our high-density poplin shirt, which is made from 100/2 yarn—a grade typically used in dress shirts—woven at an ultra-high density.

You might wonder, "Doesn't that make it quite dressy?"

Because the fabric has been washed, it has a nice, lived-in feel. The shape of the collar and the cuffs are also designed to be more casual, making it great for polished outfits, but its ability to pair well with rugged materials like denim is its real standout feature.

I took a photo of it next to some raw denim, but I think it would also look refined paired with distressed jeans.

Personally, I enjoy wearing mine with a battered pair of Levi's 66 on my days off.
